Tacteo racket

The Tacteo racket: designed to withstand the test of time

The Tacteo is a particularly versatile racket. Easy to handle, it offers performance that will suit a wide range of players, in terms of spin, speed, and control. Capable of withstanding all weather conditions and impacts, the Tacteo retains its qualities over the years, as evidenced by its 10-year warranty.

A 100% Outdoor Racket

From the very first version in 2005, the intention was clear and unwavering: to design the world's first range of recreational table tennis rackets made from durable composite materials, offering both performance and enjoyment.

This was a technical feat, as only the combination of traditional materials like foam and rubber could provide a high level of performance at the time. However, while these materials offer undeniable playing qualities, their limitations become apparent when used outdoors. Wood swells in humidity, the coatings peel off, and the racket quickly loses its aesthetic appeal and playing qualities. The choice of a racket made with a polymer and elastomer blend was therefore obvious, as its composition offers resistance to impacts and weathering. This composite racket, based on a revolutionary concept, offers increased resistance to impacts, humidity, and the effects of time. Thanks to its unique design, the Tacteo racket, like all outdoor rackets, comes with a 10-year warranty.

Innovation at the service of the game

A true icon of outdoor table tennis, the Tacteo established itself from its release as a timeless model thanks to its design and construction, unique in the world at the time. Out with the classic wood and rubber combination, in with a new polymer and elastomer blend that won't peel off.

From sheltered terraces to the edges of chlorinated pools, the Tacteo racket is designed for all types of players, from beginners to experts, for recreational play.

A unique ball feel

A true technical feat, as the bounce on foam and rubber is very complex to reproduce. It is reproduced here thanks to the patented Skin+ technology.

A non-removable coating

The bi-injection manufacturing process ensures perfect adhesion between the coating and the blade. This method has enabled the creation of the first outdoor racket with a non-removable coating.

A rigid blade

Increased strength: the injected polymer blade provides a very solid core offering increased resistance to impacts and moisture.

Responsibility in your hands

Building on its expertise in outdoor table tennis since the development and popularization of outdoor laminated resin tables in the 1990s, Cornilleau felt compelled to create a racket worthy of its innovations. True to its commitments, the idea was born in its Bonneuil-les-Eaux headquarters. Create a 100% made-in-France racket.

From the production of the raw materials used in our rackets to their sale on our website, including packaging, we strive to reduce our environmental impact at every stage.

Design

All of the company's functions are brought together at the historic Cornilleau site, the central element of the brand's expertise since the company's creation in 1946. Driven by shared values and strong convictions, our Research, Innovation, and Development teams are committed to product development and design.

Manufacturing

In the Paris region, the plastic is injected into a mold subjected to high temperatures and pressures. It is then cooled until it reaches the final shape of the racket. This manufacturing process ensures the racket has a lifespan of 10 years.

Coloring

The pigmentation of the plastic materials is developed with a long-standing Cornilleau partner specializing in plastic coloring. This collaboration between the Research, Innovation and Development department and our partner allows for precise color rendering, in terms of quality, brightness, and resistance to weathering.

Packaging

The new Tacteo racket packaging is made entirely from recyclable cardboard. It is produced in collaboration with a trusted partner located less than 100km from our historic site in Bonneuil-les-Eaux.
