Cornilleau leverages its in-depth knowledge of table tennis and its benefits to develop social initiatives centered around this activity. Thanks to its network of partners, the brand implements various operations in favor of education, inclusion, well-being, and health.
Education, inclusion and access to a sport-leisure activity
1 school - 1 table program
To help schools offer a sporting activity to all their students and to promote a fun and accessible practice of table tennis, Cornilleau has partnered with the French Table Tennis Federation for the "One school, one table" initiative.
In 2023, 180 schools in mainland France and overseas territories received a high-quality outdoor ping-pong table. Kits including balls and rackets were also distributed. These tables are freely accessible within the schools, so they can be used by everyone.
Ping Sans Frontières
Cornilleau is partner van de vereniging Ping Sans Frontières en steunt haar in haar missies. De slogan "Onderwijs aan het einde van het batje" illustreert perfect haar actieterrein. Cornilleau levert materiaal en specifieke kledij zodat de vereniging haar educatieve missies in Frankrijk en Afrika kan volbrengen. Samen hebben Cornilleau en Ping Sans Frontières een recyclagesysteem voor batrubbers opgezet onder de naam "Des plaques pour tous" (Rubbers voor iedereen), waarbij inmiddels meer dan 350 clubs in Frankrijk zijn aangesloten en waarmee jaarlijks enkele duizenden kinderen worden geholpen aan materiaal.
Welzijn en gezondheid
Steun aan de strijd tegen de ziekte van Alzheimer
Cornilleau is partner van de vereniging Ping 4 Alzheimer sinds de oprichting in 2019. Het merk biedt actieve steun aan workshops die tot doel hebben de effecten van de ziekte terug te dringen.
Cornilleau begeleidt ook de ontwikkeling van "ping santé" workshops (tafeltennis voor de gezondheid) om de ziekten van Alzheimer en Parkinson te bestrijden, in samenwerking met de FFTT in een honderdtal clubs.
Inclusie via sport
Cornilleau is een historische partner van de Fédération Française Handisport (Franse Handisportbond). Naast dit engagement begeleidt het merk individueel drie handisportspelers: Clément Berthier, Lucas Didier en Maxime Thomas. Met laatstgenoemde werkt Cornilleau samen aan de ontwikkeling van zijn producten, met name om de ergonomie en toegankelijkheid ervan te verbeteren.
Fighting sedentary lifestyles
Cornilleau is participating in the major outdoor Ping project developed by the FFTT. This project is part of the national "5000 sports grounds" plan aimed at encouraging outdoor sports throughout the country by helping local authorities to equip themselves.
Cornilleau is the long-standing partner of a similar initiative in England: Ping! England. The brand also develops many other actions there pursuing the same objective.
