Since the late 1980s, Cornilleau has been developing and promoting products that are almost exclusively "ultra-durable" and "made in France." Intuitively, the company was already offering a completely eco-responsible range of products. A new milestone was reached in 2017 with the launch of the world's first eco-designed outdoor racket, made from recycled textile fibers in collaboration with the Brittany-based company Armor-Lux. The SOFTBAT racket is the concrete result of over three years of R&D carried out by three French industrial players (Armor Lux, Plastigray, and Cornilleau) united within the innovative "Eco-Charges" project. The entire manufacturing chain of the racket is French: mold maker, compounder (material manufacturer), processor, packaging manufacturer, and supplier of recycled textile fibers. While waiting for the first 100% eco-designed table, we never stop acting consciously and responsibly across all our processes (reduction of energy consumption, drastic reduction in the use of toxic products, promotion of the circular economy, etc.). SOFTBAT is made from the recycling and recovery of cotton/polyester textiles from old ARMOR LUX collections and end-of-life clothing recovered from some of its customers. The SOFTBAT is the first eco-designed outdoor racket on the market!
